This beautiful 1960 Pontiac Catalina is wearing a bright red coat of paint that shows off it’s laser straight body panels, tail fins and lots of chrome, front to back. The distinctive long, flowing roof lines are highlighted by extensive wide chrome trim strips that follow the outline of the curvy windows. Shiny bright red paint and lots of chrome have been a winning combination on Hot Rod and performance cars for years, This car is a driver. The deep, lustrous red paint may have a few imperfections hidden away, but you have to look hard to find them.
The original “Catalina“ badges, both bumpers, the grill and headlight trim rings all shine with that beautiful original deep factory chrome. PONTIAC is spelled out on the rear.
The rear taillights, inspired by the era’s aircraft and the “Wide Track Pontiac“ stance, combine for a car that looks slightly intimidating both coming and going.
The exterior is largely original, an exception being the embedded turn signals on the other wise original external rear view mirrors. The large curvy windows are all in great shape and trimmed with vintage GM quality chrome. The glass is slightly tinted, adding to the intimidation factor of this big 1960 Poncho.
